 FOOD AND LOGISTICS COMMITTEE
Solicits donations for and manages all food, drinks, and supplies
for RBD, appoints and trains Food Coordinators, arranges for all general
supplies as needed, (azaleas, first aid kits, etc.), responsible for T-shirt
distribution, assists with volunteer registration.
FUND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Develops annual funding plan, solicits funds from various
sources, maintains and evaluates donor relationships, develops and
implements fund raising strategies, assures Board member participation in
fundraising. Leads and coordinates fund drives and events.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Coordinates and facilitates appropriate media coverage for all
Rebuilding Together events, researches new P-R opportunities, develops
materials and activities to promote Rebuilding Together, arranges for
Rebuilding Day photos, designs and coordinates all P-R efforts and assists
in web site maintenance.
RAMP PROGRAM COMMITTEE
Coordinates and oversees all ramp projects, works to develop and
train ramp volunteers and keep them informed of upcoming projects, and
assists with ramp volunteer appreciation.
REBUILDING DAY COMMITTEE
Plans and coordinates all RBD projects, recruits, supervises and
trains all project leadership and skilled tradespeople, helps procure all
necessary equipment. (Dumpsters, tents, portable toilets, permits, etc.)
Solicits in-kind donations and discounts of materials, and assists in tool
and equipment organization, distribution and return to warehouse. Works with
safety committee to assure safe projects.
REBUILDING YEAR-ROUND COMMITTEE
Sets policies for new Rebuilding Year-Round Program, which
addresses critical need repairs, responsible for homeowner selection and
logistics of repair work.
SAFETY COMMITTEE
Designs and implements our safety programs, trains project
leadership on presentation of safety awareness and specific safety issues on
Rebuilding Day.
SITE SELECTION COMMITTEE
Reviews applications and determines what action to take on each, performs
home previews and site visits, completes required documentation and selects
projects. Assists in application solicitation.
VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Recruits groups and individuals for Rebuilding Day and related events,
appoints and trains Volunteer Coordinators, provides maps or written
directions to each project, assists with Rebuilding Day communication and
registration. Coordinates volunteer and donor appreciation activities.
