Rebuilding
Together of NWA has three programs to assist area homeowners. There are many
families who use all of their available resources for basic needs and simply
have nothing left to maintain their homes. When their furnace quits working
or their kitchen sink springs a leak or they suddenly require a wheelchair
and cannot access their homes, they can turn to Rebuilding Together of NWA
for help.
Rebuilding Day
After months of extensive planning and preparation, Rebuilding Together of
NWA hosts its annual Rebuilding Day on the last Saturday each April.
Hundreds of volunteers fix-up, clean-up and repair multiple homes that are
owned by deserving members of our community – on this one day! Skilled and
unskilled volunteers work together to complete the repairs at no cost to the
homeowner.

Rebuilding Together Year-Round
When you’re living without heat, hot water or with a hole in your
roof, you simply cannot wait until our next annual Rebuilding Day. The
Rebuilding Year-Round Program completes repairs for homeowners throughout
the year that cannot wait until our next Rebuilding Day. The types of
repairs we can assist with are critical in nature and are less extensive
than what we can accomplish during our Rebuilding Days.
Examples of
Rebuilding Year-Round projects include furnace replacement, plumbing and
electrical repairs, replacing a leaky roof, etc.
R.A.M.P.
Our Ramp and accessibility modification program (R.A.M.P.) is a partnership
with SOURCES for Independent Living. Through this program provide
accessibility to homes for homeowners with disabilities by building
wheelchair ramps and making other accessibility improvements.
